Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art Gallery is organizing an art exhibition in collaboration with Draw Us 2Gether, an art movement. The exhibition features the paintings of Taneesa Krishnan Rajesh, a young artist and founder of Draw Us 2Gether.
The exhibition is on the theme ‘Different Minds. Equal Dreams’. As a child, Taneesa struggled with reading and learning, and found little awareness, across the schools she studied in, of what children like her actually needed.
Until then, her struggles were often mistaken for a lack of effort. With the right support, her marks improved, her teachers understood her better, and most importantly her confidence grew.
Through her art exhibition, Taneesa invites people to step into her perspective and become part of a more aware, more supportive world for every child. Taneesa message is simple: Every child learns differently. Every child deserves to be understood. And the right support can change a child’s life.
The painting will be on display from August 19th to 23rd at the gallery between 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
