Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic spirit and pride.
Major Gemswin Bosco Johnson, Administrative Officer, 4 Tamil Nadu NCC Battalion, Coimbatore, Indian Army, graced the occasion, hoisted the National Flag and received the Guard of Honour from the NCC cadets.
In his address, he echoed the spirit of “Nation First”, inspiring students to uphold their responsibilities as citizens. As part of the celebrations, the ‘Olirum Kovai’ Cleanliness Pledge was administered, reaffirming the commitment to keeping Coimbatore clean and vibrant.
