Kongunadu Arts and Science College celebrated the 80th Independence Day today. The chief guest, Karthikeyan, a retired Indian Air Force officer and a proud participant in Operation Vijay (Kargil War), hoisted the national flag.
Vasuki, Secretary and Director of the college; Paramasivan, Treasurer; and Sangeetha, Principal, were present on the occasion.
The celebrations also featured a march by NCC students and other performances. Students who excelled in various fields were also honoured for their achievements.
