Renacon, the flagship building materials brand of the Renaatus Group, Erode, recently announced the launch of RENAFLEX Fibre Cement Boards (FCB) in Coimbatore, strengthening its presence in one of Tamil Nadu’s fastest-growing construction and infrastructure markets. This announcement was made in a press meet.
Backed by a ₹350 crore investment in advanced manufacturing infrastructure, the launch brings globally benchmarked, sustainable building solutions to support the region’s rapidly expanding residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and educational sectors.
Manufactured at Renacon’s integrated green building materials facility in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, RENAFLEX Fibre Cement Boards are produced using advanced Laminar Flow Technology, delivering superior strength, durability, precision and consistency while enabling faster, safer and greener construction.
Selva Sundaram, Chairman and Managing Director, Renaatus Group, said, “The launch of RENAFLEX in Coimbatore marks an important milestone in our journey towards becoming a complete building solutions provider.
As one of South India’s fastest-growing industrial and real estate hubs, Coimbatore is embracing modern, sustainable construction. With our flagship residential development, VARAM, already establishing our presence in the city, the introduction of RENAFLEX further reinforces our long-term commitment to this market.
We are pleased to offer architects, builders and developers globally benchmarked Fibre Cement Boards that deliver superior strength, durability, aesthetics and construction efficiency.”
Renacon has established one of Asia’s largest integrated AAC Blocks and Fibre Cement Board manufacturing facilities, with an annual production capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes of Fibre Cement Boards. The facility manufactures Type A (High Density) and Type B Fibre Cement Boards, along with RENAFLEX Elegante Designer Boards for premium architectural, façade and interior applications.
RENAFLEX Fibre Cement Boards are engineered for modern construction, offering excellent fire, moisture and termite resistance, high dimensional stability, smooth finishes and long service life. Ideal for partitions, false ceilings, façades, wet areas, prefabricated structures and modular interiors, the boards enable faster installation, lower maintenance and enhanced project efficiency while supporting green building standards such as IGBC and GRIHA.
The company expects strong demand from Coimbatore and the wider western Tamil Nadu region, driven by continued investments in residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and hospitality projects. Renacon will continue strengthening its presence across Tamil Nadu and South India before expanding into international markets, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
