The Department of Commerce and Commerce with Professional Accounting at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science recently inaugurated its Association for the academic year.
Priya, Head of the Department, delivered the welcome address. The session was further enriched by the keynote address of the Chief Guest, Prabhakaran, Director of Edify Ed Tech, Coimbatore, SEBI Securities Market Trainer (SMARTs), and an Empanelled Resource Person of NSE, BSE, NISM, NCDEX, MCX, CDSL, and NCFE.
In his inspiring address, Prabhakaran emphasised the importance of financial literacy, skill development, and continuous learning in building successful careers.
The highlight of the event was the formal inauguration of the Commerce Association, followed by the badge distribution ceremony for the newly elected office bearers.
The Chairman of the association then led the office bearers in taking the Association Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to serving the department with dedication and responsibility.
The programme concluded by motivating students to strengthen their financial literacy, develop disciplined stock market investment and trading skills, pursue professional certifications, and prepare themselves for successful careers in finance and entrepreneurship.
