The Department of Commerce with Professional Accounting at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with YS Academy, a leading institution for professional courses, on Monday.
This landmark collaboration aims to provide comprehensive coaching for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Foundation and Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) Foundation courses for students admitted during the academic year 2026.
Saravanan, Principal, and Banudevi, Dean – Commerce and Management, graced the MoU signing ceremony. CA. Yogesh Kumar, Founder of YS Academy, represented the institution.
The partnership is strategically designed to integrate professional course preparation with the students’ regular degree curriculum. The coaching classes will be conducted on the college campus by qualified faculty members from YS Academy, enabling students to pursue professional certifications alongside their undergraduate studies.
“This MoU with YS Academy marks a significant step in our commitment towards student success. By bringing CA and CMA coaching to our campus, we are removing barriers and providing our students with a structured pathway to achieve professional excellence from the beginning of their college journey,” the college stated in a press release.
