The Global Automotive Skill Grid Project aims to achieve that through local partnerships. It also aims to develop the curriculum that presents a clear image of what are the skill development works that are happening across the world in the sector.

“We want to create or we want to just collaborate or integrate this kind of curriculum and take this as a pilot project, and we are very happy to onboard any of the institutions here (in Coimbatore), any of the industries here who want to take this pilot project,” said Kasi who also stated that this could be run through the CSR funds from the automotive industries.

“We have got 5,000 automotive suppliers where everybody is ready to give their CSR fund to do some kind of a global activity in this futuristic landscape,” he added.
