Coimbatore Productivity Council (CPC) organized the 6th edition of HR Conclave. It was attended by 200+ staff, executives and officials of various organizations handling Human Resources.
Held under the theme ‘Transform for Transformation’, the event saw various renowned business leaders and officials deliver inspiring speeches.
Nagarajan, Founder, Ramraj Cotton, the Chief Guest called HR professionals the heart of organizations, and highlighted their role in harnessing the greatest asset of India at this point – Youngsters. He said that at a time when India is has more youth in its population, industry should capitalize this energy through structured means.
“Your staff may all not be the same – some would be dedicated to the growth, some would be working for the sake of working while a few would see the process through pessimistic lens and be lethargic in fulfilling their duties. It is your duty (HR Professionals) to make such people become optimistic contributors, so that the best – of their potential, of the company’s productivity and the progress of nation on the whole – will increase,” Nagarajan said. He was the Chief Guest of the Conclave’s inaugural session.

P.Ramakrishnan, Director, Rabwin Industries who took part as the Guest of Honor shared that he has seen a lot of potential in the young generation (Gen Z) but most are yet to attain it due to lack of a disciplined approach.
Coimbatore’s very own motivational speaker and respected HR leader, Kavidasan briefly spoke about the genesis of HR Sector in India, and the role it played in improving organizations. He emphasized that thoughts and words have the power to change life, hence he urged all to think positively and have good ideas for growth. However, he underlined that Ideas will not work until we work on it. Kavidasan is the mentor for this entire HR Conclave since its first introduction.
The resource person of the event, Swami Sukhabodhananda, a well-known orator and corporate guru, with a few hilarious stories, pointed out that Listening and Seeing are very important for all, especially among those in the corporate world. He said that listening without pre-installed filters of ideas is important to get the meaning of anyone who speaks. It could be an employee sharing ideas or grievances, whatever it is, listening to it practically is essential.
S.Sudhakar, President, CPC while welcoming the gathering spoke about CPC, and how it gives importance to Productivity, Quality, Safety, Skill and of course, Human Resource.
“We organize 5 conclaves a year. So far we have organized 15 Productivity conclaves, 9 Safety conclaves, 9 Quality conclaves, 1 skill conclave and 5 HR Conclaves. We organize such events to help organization builders improve their establishments’ overall performances,” he added.
