Getting a degree is important but a degree certificate without the right skills and attitude will not take a person anywhere, he expressed. He recommended the graduates to upskill as their competition after graduation will not just be with known friends and colleagues but with talents coming from across India. He said India produces at least 45 lakh+ graduates every year and close to 25 lakh are from the Arts and Science stream.

Hence, he urged the students to sharpen their skills, have the right attitude and develop a strong network. He advised them to rise above fears and hesitations and believe in themselves and also trust that this world will give some good mentors who will help them rise further.
