Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – Coimbatore is set to organize a spiritual discourse from May 1st to 7th featuring Swami Paramarthananda, a disciple of the revered Pujyasri Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
Swami Paramarthananda has been teaching Vedanta for over thirty years. The major Vedanta texts Brahmasutras, Bhagavad Gita and other other Prakarana Granthas form the subject matter of his discourses. In the present day fast-moving world, where everyone is chasing a hectic routine day in and day out, Swamiji’s teachings with practical examples help people to understand the goals of life as enunciated by the Sastras and work towards them.
According to a press note, Swami Paramarthananda will deliver the discourse on Uddhava Gita – an extraordinary teaching by Lord Krishna and on Aparokshanubhuti, a famous work attributed to Adi Sankara, in English. These Vedic Scriptures are the treasure houses of the philosophic knowledge of Bharatiya tradition and culture.
It will take place in the evenings from May 1st to 7th between 6.30 p.m. and 7.45 p.m., and in the mornings from May 2nd to 7th between 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.
