Dr. Rajasekaran, Chairman, Department of Orthopaedics at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, has been recently honoured with the Rotary Club of Guindy’s “Charaka Award.”
The award was presented by the chief guest, Annamalai, former President of the BJP in Tamil Nadu, who shared about the awardee on social media, stating that Dr. Rajasekaran’s life has been dedicated to healing, innovation, and service.
Dr Rajasekaran is widely respected for his pioneering work in orthopaedics, trauma, and spine surgery, and for building Ganga Hospital into a world-class centre of excellence.
His achievements in research and teaching are extraordinary, with hundreds of publications and presentations, as well as leadership roles that have brought pride to India in the global orthopaedic community.
He also continues to inspire through his commitment to affordable, high-quality care and road safety advocacy.
