The Student Council of the Rathinam College of Arts and Science celebrated Rathinam Grand Fest 2026 recently.
The event was graced by special guests, including Sam Vishal, Singer; Vishnupriya, Singer; along with their musical band, and Actress Ramya Ranganathan.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural events that showcased the creativity, talent, and team spirit of students from different departments.
The event brought together students, faculty members, alumni, parents, and invited dignitaries.

During the event, several awards and recognitions were presented to appreciate the achievements and contributions of students and supporters.
Class Toppers, Best Outgoing Students, Supportive Parents, Best Student Entrepreneurs, and those who made the Best Contribution to the Rathinavani Community Radio 90.8 were honoured.
In addition, outstanding NSS and NCC volunteers and other student achievers were also recognised for their dedication and continuous support across various benchmarks.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the presentation of the Overall Championship Trophy to the Departments of Visual Communication, Psychology and Mathematics for its excellence in academic and extracurricular activities.
In addition, Heads and Deans of various departments received a special appreciation award from the Management for their service excellence.
The event was graced by the presence of the management and academic leaders of Rathinam Group of Institutions, including Madhan Senthil, Chairman, Rathinam Group of Institutions; Shima Sendhil, Director; Megha Senthil, Trustee; Manickam, CEO; Balasubramanian, Principal, Rathinam College of Arts and Science; Suresh, Vice Principal; Sabareesh, Dean – Research and Development; and Dhinakaran, Dean – Administration.

The Deans of various schools and the Student Council members were also present. The event was planned, organised, and executed fully by the students’ council community representing 5000 plus students.
The College Day celebration reflected the vibrant academic culture of Rathinam College of Arts and Science and highlighted the institution’s commitment to encouraging student talent, leadership, and holistic development.
