The Industry Institute Partnership Cell of Dr. NGP Institute of Technology organised Innovation Nexus 2026 – “Shaping Careers Through Collaboration” recently, to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and guide students toward future career opportunities.
The program commenced with a welcome address delivered by Sreebalaji, Dean– Industry Relations and Head of Mechanical Engineering, followed by felicitations from Prabha, Principal of the college.
A key highlight of the event was the Guest Speakers’ Address featuring eminent industry leaders, including Vaidyanathan Kuppuswamy, Senior Director – Microsoft and Principal Group Engineering Manager, Hyderabad; and Sreekrishnan Nair, Senior Business Analyst Strategy, CIRCOR Flow Technologies, Coimbatore.
The other speakers included Aiswarya Vaidyanathan, Executive Director –Financial Services, Senior Technology Leader, Hyderabad; Kaushik Hatti, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Data Scientist, Pinochle.AI, Greater Chicago; and Sriram Prasad, CEO & Founder, Keerai Kadai Ventures.
The speakers shared valuable insights on emerging technologies, innovation- driven careers, data science, entrepreneurship, and leadership in the evolving industrial landscape.
A panel discussion followed by an interactive Q&A session provided students and faculty with an opportunity to engage directly with experts and gain practical perspectives on career growth and industry expectations.
Innovation Nexus 2026 served as a dynamic platform to inspire students, foster collaboration, and bridge the gap between academia and industry, reinforcing the institution’s vision towards innovation-driven learning and career excellence.
