Southern India Mills Association (SIMA) is organizing its 15th edition of Texfair – an international textile machinery, accessories and spares exhibition in Coimbatore.
The fair is being held at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, and it was inaugurated by P.R. Venketrama Raja, Chairman, Managing Director, Ramco Group on Friday, in the presence of Durai Palanisamy, Chairman, SIMA and others. The fair which began on March 6th will take place till March 9th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

P.Ashwin Chandran, Chairman, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) presided over the inaugural. S. Suresh Babuji, Director & Head of Office, MSME DFO and Shaleen Toshniwal were the Guests of Honor.
SIMA’s Vice Chairman Krishna Kumar conveyed that Texfair 2026 has attracted 240 exhibitors from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and a few union territories too. On the international side, the fair has exhibitors from Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Japan and China. They are showcasing their products, innovations and services in 258 stalls. He added that they expect 1 lakh visitors during the 4 days of the fair.
Prashant Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Wazir Advisors delivered the keynote address. The Chief Guest, P.R. Venketrama Raja, Chairman, Managing Director, Ramco Group delivered a special address.
He also released the souvenir of Texfair 2026.
