The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (ODL), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore organized its Award Ceremony and Graduation Day for the open and distance learning (ODL) – Diploma in Agri Inputs (2024-25 batch) recently at the University campus.

About 700 successfully completed candidates received their diploma certificates. Balasubramaniam, Director (ODL), TNAU presided over the function and the ceremony featured a special address by Willa Huston, Associate Dean, Global Engagement, University of Melbourne, Australia, who insisted the global perspective on scientific engagement.

Prof. G. Ambika from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram, also spoke on the occasion. State Secretary of Tamil Nadu Agriculture Input Dealers Association N. Raguraman offered felicitation.

He emphasized the vital role of trained agri-input dealers in bridging the gap between scientific research and field-level application. S. Lakshmi, Professor (ODL) proposed the vote of thanks.
