The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Power Projects, Tiruppur, and E-Royce, Coimbatore, on 22 December 2025.
E Royce is one of the leading manufacturers that specialises in electrical two-wheelers and three-wheelers R&D, Production, Marketing, Sales & Service.

Power Projects provides power system consulting services to power utilities and industries in India and global markets.
The MoUs were signed to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and enhance skill development among students and faculty members. The primary objective of these partnerships is to provide industry-oriented training, internships, and real-time exposure to students, thereby improving their practical knowledge, hands-on skills, and problem-solving abilities.
The collaborations also focus on Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), enabling faculty members to gain exposure to emerging technologies, current industry practices, and professional advancements. These initiatives aim to improve employability, promote innovation, and support continuous professional development.
The MoU with Power Projects was exchanged by Nagaraj, CEO, and Arvind, Lead Power System Engineer, along with Prabha, Principal, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology.
The MoU with E-Royce was exchanged by Sudhakar Nagu, Founder and CEO; Radhakrishnan, Managing Director; Varghese, R&D Head; and Vibin, Business Development Manager, together with Prabha.
Both MoU signing ceremonies were held in the presence of Ramash Kumar, Head of the Department; Chitra, Associate Professor; and Senthilnathan, Associate Professor.
