Day two of the three-day International Conference on “The AI Spectrum: Bridging Research, Industry, and Innovation” began today (23 December 2025) at PSG College of Technology with the release of the conference proceedings. The event will conclude on 24 December.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, Vilas Dhar, President of the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, USA, who released the inaugural video.
Yadati Narahari –Academics, Honorary Professor, Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA), IISC Bangalore, and Dakshina Murthy, Fellow, Software Engineering, СТО, HCL Technologies, Hyderabad, were the guests of honour.

The chief guest, Vilas Dhar, in his address, said that with AI, we must build a world by creating solutions to problems using the technology, and he stressed the importance of responsible AI.
Yadati Narahari stated that AI has now become an essential infrastructure, similar to the internet and electricity. He urged participants to become creators of futuristic AI tools to help make India number one and emphasised the need to adhere to ethics and values while working with AI.
Dakshina Murthy spoke on reimagining and stated that AI has enabled democratisation, as it is accessible to all.
Prakasan, Principal of the college, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he stated that in the future, artificial intelligence may evolve into artificial imagination. He emphasised the importance of imagination and encouraged participants to imagine internally and translate those ideas into new innovations externally.

Earlier, Karpagam, Director of the PSG-AI Consortium and Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, delivered the welcome address. Sathiyapriya, Associate Professor, presented an overview of the AI Spectrum.
The conference is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, and serves as a pre-summit event for the AI Impact Summit 2026.
