Kongunadu Arts and Science College congratulated Cadet Divya Dharshini, a II B.Sc. Psychology student from the 4 TN Battalion NCC Unit (FSFS), for her outstanding performance at both National and State-level shooting championships.
The cadet demonstrated exceptional skill and precision by winning two gold medals at the 34th All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship – 2025 (Rifle – Open Sight – 3P Event – 50 Mtr), conducted by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
The event was held at the State Sports Shooting Academy of Excellence, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from 9th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.
Her achievements at the All India G.V. Mavalankar Championship include:
- 50 Mtr 3P Junior Women (Individual) – Gold
- 50 Mtr 3P Senior Women (Individual) – Gold
In addition to her national-level success, Cadet Divya Dharshini secured a silver medal at the NCC Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Championship (National Level) in the 50 Mtr Open Sight Junior Women 3P event held at Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
She also won a bronze medal in the NCC Inter-Group Competition (State Level) in the 50 Mtr Open Sight 3P event at Erode, Tamil Nadu.
