Quadra Systems, a leading AI and cloud solutions provider, celebrated its 25th anniversary by partnering with renowned environmental NGO Siruthuli to plant 1,000 tree saplings at the urban forest near Thudiyalur Railway Station.
Sivaguru Prabakaran, Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore, planted a sapling to mark the occasion.
This significant contribution to Coimbatore’s green cover stands as a cornerstone of Quadra’s silver jubilee celebrations. The 1,000 new saplings will join a thriving urban forest of over 12,000 trees, a project jointly managed by Siruthuli and Southern Railways.
The event brought together Quadra employees, Siruthuli volunteers, and local officials, all united by a shared goal of enhancing the region’s ecological health.
“For 25 years, our mission has been to architect the future for our partners. Today, as we mark this milestone, we are proud to extend that mission to architecting a greener, more sustainable future for our community,” said Prashanth Subramanian, Co-Founder of Quadra Systems.
“This initiative is a living symbol of our journey and our commitment to planting deep roots in the communities that have nurtured our growth. We are incredibly honoured to partner with an institution like Siruthuli, whose tireless work is a true inspiration.”
Nagaraj Ponnuswamy, Co-Founder of Quadra Systems, added, “Reaching a 25-year milestone is a moment for reflection. Our success is deeply rooted in the community that has supported us. Just as we help our clients build sustainable businesses, this partnership with Siruthuli is our commitment to the sustainable growth of our home city.”
Siruthuli, a pioneer in water conservation and afforestation in the region, highlighted the importance of corporate collaboration in achieving large-scale environmental impact.
“Corporate partnerships are vital to the success and sustainability of large-scale environmental projects,” said Vanitha Mohan, Managing Trustee of Siruthuli.
“Quadra’s decision to mark their silver jubilee by investing in the green cover of Coimbatore is truly commendable and sets a powerful example for corporate stewardship. These 1,000 trees will contribute significantly to the city’s biodiversity and ecological health for generations to come.”
The Thudiyalur urban forest project is a testament to the power of public–private collaboration in creating lasting environmental assets for the community.
