SUEZ in Coimbatore began “SUEZ Health Week-2025” with a session on mental well-being and self-care on 30th September 2025.
Nearly 50 employees attended the program at the project office. The session marked the opening day of SUEZ Health Week-2025, which runs until 3rd October.
The session aimed to encourage staff to take charge of their own health. It reminded them to understand that personal well-being is the first step toward building stronger, healthier workplaces and communities.
The session was led by Noor Ahamed, renowned psychologist and motivational speaker. He spoke about this year’s theme, “Caring for Health Starts with Yourself.”
He emphasized how stress, when left unchecked, can affect both personal life and professional performance and offered practical steps for maintaining balance in both personal and professional life.
He also guided participants through some fun activities and strategies for building resilience, while reminding them that self-care is not optional but necessary.
“Good mental health is the foundation of everything else,” Noor told participants. “When people look after their own well-being, they find they are more present, more focused, and better able to contribute at work and at home.”
Coimbatore 24×7 Water Project Safety Manager Pankaj Kumar, said the initiative reflects the company’s belief that employee welfare is central to its success.
“At SUEZ, we want our people to feel supported. Health Week is not just an annual observance but part of an ongoing effort to make wellness a core value within our culture,” he said.
By organizing Health Week programs, SUEZ continues to underline that health and safety are not add-ons but integral to its way of working, alongside the delivery of essential services to communities.
