The School of Management at Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science organised an interactive session titled “Focus Gives Success” on 26th June 2025.
Raghupathy, Director of Strategic Planning and Review at Kumaraguru Institutions, welcomed the gathering.
The keynote address was delivered by Velumani, the visionary founder of Thyrocare. In his inspiring talk, he emphasised the value of being frugal by maximising impact with minimal resources, staying focused as distractions can dilute one’s destiny, and being fearless, as boldness is often the foundation of historic achievements.
He also reflected on the concept of “The Pleasure and the Pain” and highlighted the importance of focusing, learning, growing, and enjoying life as essential aspects of success.
Velumani actively engaged with the audience, responding to all questions. The event also celebrated internship excellence, with top-performing students being felicitated in his presence.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Balu, Deputy Dean. The programme was organised by Balu and coordinated by Professor Jayanthi and the faculty of the School of Management at Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science.
