The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) of Coimbatore Chapter jointly organised a seminar on the occasion of International MSME Day at ICAI Bhawan, on 27th June 2025.
Arun Chaudhary, Director of the Directorate of Industry Interface & Technology Management, was the Chief Guest, and he addressed on “DRDO-Industry Partnership: Support by DRDO.”
He shared that DRDO provides support facilities and assistance to the growth and development of MSMEs and elaborated about the procedures to avail those facilities.
Another Guest, Dr. Varunn, Pulmonologist from PSG Super Specialty Hospitals, shared the importance of focusing on staying and leading a healthy life.
He recalled the important role played by MSMEs in providing medical assistance during the COVID pandemic.
Special Guest CA. Rajesh, Regional Council Member of ICAI, shared the role of ICAI in empowering MSMEs, compliance, credit and competitiveness. He further informed that Members of ICAI are providing various kinds of support to the MSMEs.
