Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, in collaboration with Amrita Darshanam and the Office of Student Affairs, is hosting “Sadgamaya,” a three-day residential cultural retreat, from June 12th to June 14th, 2025, at Amriteshwari Hall.
This retreat is mainly for faculty members and academicians of the university, focused on the Indian Knowledge System. It features a rich program of talks, presentations, and cultural performances.
It opens with an inauguration by C.P. Radhakrishnan, the Maharashtra Governor.
The sessions include “Teaching with Purpose: A Vocation of the Heart,” “Amma’s Vision of Science and Spirituality,” yoga and meditation, “Culture as the Basis of the Indian Economy,” and “Ancient Indian Textiles & their Aesthetics.”
Sadgamaya aims to provide participants with a deep immersion into India’s cultural and intellectual heritage.
