The Textile Association (India), South India Unit, inaugurated the 78th All India Textile Conference today (21st November 2025) at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore, on the theme “Global Textiles: Unearthing Opportunities.”
The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, Chairman and Managing Director of LMW, by lighting the lamp.
During the inauguration, Durai Palanisamy, Executive Director, Pallavaa Group, Erode, and Manivannan, Chairman and Managing Director, LS Mills, Theni, were presented with the Industrial Excellence Award for their contributions to the textile sector.
The awards were handed over by Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu.
The conference souvenir was released by Subramanian, Chairman and Managing Director of KM Knitwear, Tiruppur and Chairman of TEA, and received by Krishnakumar (Kannan), Managing Director, Sulochana Cotton Mills.
Heads of the Textile Association (India) and the South India Unit were present at the event.
Textile sector experts, leading machinery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and industrialists participated in the conference.
This is a two-day event and will continue tomorrow (22nd November 2025), featuring nine sessions, including panel discussions and technical presentations.
