Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Thirumalayampalayam, Coimbatore, recently held its 24th Graduation Day at the Shri P. K. Das Memorial Auditorium.
Vijayakumar, Principal of the College, delivered the welcome address. Krishna Das, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India and Chairman & Managing Trustee of Nehru Group of Institutions, conveyed his wishes to all the graduates through a video conference.
Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary of the institution, presided over the event and felicitated the graduates.
Honorary Colonel Ravi, Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, was the Chief Guest. He felicitated the students and conferred the degrees.
A total of 815 students graduated this year, comprising 671 undergraduate and 144 postgraduate students. Among them, 59 students secured top ten ranks in their respective programs and were declared rank holders, while 26 of them were honoured as gold medalists.
All graduates took the Graduation Day oath after the ceremony. Parents were present to witness the degree-awarding ceremony.
