Volvo Car India has introduced its latest electric car, the EX30, at the Jenneys Residency, Coimbatore, today, 27th September 2025.
A press meet was held today at the hotel regarding the launch. Vishakan, Head of Sales, Tamil Nadu Dealership, addressed the press along with Alagappan, Sales Manager, and Sharath, Marketing Manager.
Volvo is offering the new car at a special pre-reserve price of ₹39,99,000 for customers who book the vehicle before 19th October 2025. After the offer period, the vehicle will be priced at ₹41,00,000 (ex-showroom).

The EX30 is being assembled at the company’s plant in Hosakote, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The EX30 is Volvo’s most sustainable electric vehicle to date, with the lowest carbon footprint among all fully electric Volvo cars. The vehicle features interiors made from recycled materials such as denim, PET bottles, aluminium, and PVC pipes, reflecting Volvo’s commitment to sustainability.

The audio experience is elevated with the new Harman Kardon soundbar concept, featuring a 1040W amplifier and nine high-performance speakers, offering surround sound for all passengers.
The 12.3-inch high-resolution centre display is intuitive and adaptable, featuring built-in Google services, 5G connectivity, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and more.
The EX30 comes with an 8-year battery warranty and includes a wall box charger as standard. It reimagines the car-user interface, allowing owners to unlock the car using an NFC (Near Frequency Card) sensor or their smartphone via the Digital Key Plus feature on the Volvo Car App.
