Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies, Coimbatore (VIMS) celebrated International Women’s Day recently.

At the occasion, the institution honored Brindha Chakrapani S., Special Educator at PSBB Millennium School, with the Special Educator Award for her contributions to inclusive education for children with special needs.

Prema Subramaniam, a Social Activist, received the ‘Best Social Activist Award’ for her dedicated service to society through her NGO.

Valarmathi, Principal and CEO of Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies; Kanagavalli, Life Skill Coach and Corporate Trainer, the chief guest presented the awards.

The celebration also included cultural performances by students, such as group dances, poetry recitations, speeches, games, and dramas that celebrated the strength and achievements of women.
