KMCH College of Pharmacy recently organised an upskilling and certification program for registered pharmacists.
This training program was initiated as per the instruction of the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) along with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Pharmacy Council of India under funding support from PMKVY 4.0.
The training program was scheduled for 30 hours from 17.02.2025 to 20.02.2025. The Chief Guest Prakash, Drugs Inspector, Coimbatore North, inaugurated the function.
Rajasekaran, Principal of the college and a Certified Trainer for this activity, addressed the gathering and inaugurated the session with other dignitaries.
Chief Guest spoke about these upskilling programmers as formal initiatives that help registered pharmacists develop new skills to improve their performances in pharmacies and become skilled pharmacy professionals to support the healthcare system.
Through this training, the pharmacists will get the knowledge and skills necessary to be proficient and productive in their roles. The objective is to enhance the skills and competencies of registered pharmacists, ensuring their continued efficiency in pharmacy.
The program was facilitated by Rajasekaran, Principal along with Sureshkumar, Vice Principal and faculty members.
