Sadhguru Thiyagaraja Aradhana Trust is organising the “Thiyagaraja Aradhana” annually at Coimbatore to pay homage to Sadhguru Sri Thyagaraja and to inspire young and talented youth interested in Carnatic music.

This year, the festival is being held from 5 February 2026 to 9 February 2026 at Kothandharamaswamy Devasthanam, Ramnagar.

The Aradhana was inaugurated by Dr. Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospitals. In his inaugural address, he spoke about the importance of good music in shaping both physical and mental health. He stated that students who excel in music often achieve success in the field of education as well. Just as yoga is practised to calm the mind, music also plays a vital role in aligning the mind and body, thereby improving focus.

Bhuvaneswari Chandrasekaran, Trustee, Sadhguru Thiyagaraja Aradhana Trust, said that the devotional event has been organised regularly for over five decades and that this year marks the 55th year of the Aradhana.

Kalaimaamani Mudikondan Ramesh, the guest of honour, applauded the Sadhguru Thiyagaraja Trust for its efforts in promoting Carnatic music and honouring the Musical Trinity. This was followed by a Veena concert by him.

On 6 February 2026, a group rendition of Thyagaraja Pancharathna Kritis was held, in which several musicians and music students from the city participated. The programme will continue until 9 February 2026.
