The United Home, located at Kurumbapalayam on Sathy Main Road, stands as a testimony to 30 years of social excellence. It serves orphaned senior citizens with utmost care and compassion—something many of them were denied in their own homes.
Functioning on its own premises, the United Home provides shelter and support to 110 orphaned elders who have been neglected by their families and abandoned by society.
These senior citizens are offered food, clothing, shelter, medical treatment, and medication completely free of charge. Every effort is made to help them lead a life of dignity and freedom. The home also cares for bedridden patients with unknown backgrounds.
A dedicated team of 18 employees works around the clock to ensure the well-being of the residents. A panel of paid doctors visits periodically to monitor the health of the inmates, while wardens and nurses stay with them 24/7.
Each resident is provided with a cot and mattress, and every hostel—separately arranged for men and women—is equipped with a television and an FM radio. The campus also includes a hygienic clinic with a clinical laboratory, a well-stocked library with a reading room, a spacious dining hall, a clean and well-maintained kitchen, and even a vegetable garden—all offered for the benefit of the senior residents.

All of this has been made possible solely through the generosity of charity-minded well-wishers, as the Home does not receive any support from the government or foreign organisations.
Festivals are celebrated with joy and community spirit within the premises—especially Diwali, the festival of lights and happiness. As Diwali approaches, we invite those reading this message to contribute their generous offerings to bring colour, warmth, and joy to the lives of the orphaned elders of the United Home.
Your kind support will light up their lives and remind them that although they may have been deserted by their children, there are still sons and daughters in society who care—and who will stand by them this Diwali.
