SSVM Institutions announced the winners of the Studentpreneur Awards 2025 during the second day of the fourth edition of the Transforming India Conclave, held at SSVM World School on 2nd September 2025.

The awards are an initiative to encourage entrepreneurial thinking among school students and honour innovative projects with meaningful social impact.

The Studentpreneur Awards spotlight bold young innovators from SSVM Institutions and schools across India who are turning ideas into impactful ventures. With mentorship from industry experts, these students are equipped to transform vision into reality.

On the second day of the conclave, welcoming the audience, Srisha Mohandoss, Director of Education, inspired the gathering by emphasising that the real challenge is not whether AI will replace humans, but how humanity and AI can co-create the future. She compared AI to “training wheels on a bicycle”—a support system that empowers learning but must eventually be surpassed through human capability and wisdom.

The conclave featured thought-provoking sessions on the role of AI across sectors.

Sharan Hegde, Founder & CEO of 1% Clubspoke on “Beyond Numbers: Why Financial Wisdom Still Needs a Human Voice.” He highlighted that while AI is valuable in fields like therapy and content creation, finance continues to require human judgment and regulatory balance.

Manimekalai Mohan, Founder, SSVM Institutions, along with Srisha Mohandoss, in their session “Mother, Daughter & Machine: Reimagining Education Together,” emphasised that AI can support but never replace the compassion, care, and human connection of a teacher.

Dr. Raja Sabapathy, Chairman, Department of Plastic Surgery, Ganga Hospital, spoke on “Touch, Trust & Technology: What AI Can’t Replace in Patient Care.” He shared how AI can democratize healthcare by improving accessibility and early detection, while underscoring the irreplaceable role of empathy and human values in medicine.

Jibu Elias, AI Ethicist– in his address “Building AI for India: Culture, Context & Responsibility in Innovation,” stressed that AI must reflect human values, ethics, and cultural context to truly drive responsible innovation.

The highlight of the event was the felicitation of the national winners of the Studentpreneur Awards 2025, with cash prizes presented by Manimekalai Mohan, Dr. Raja Sabapathy, Srisha, Nitin, and Mohandoss.
