The College of Nursing, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, NSS Unit, conducted a seven-day NSS special camp from 21.03.25 to 27.03.25 at Kottaipalayam, SS Kulam.
As part of the camp, in coordination with the Block Development Officer and Panchayat Secretary, the volunteers organized an awareness programme titled “Say No to Plastics” at Kottaipalayam village.
The students held an awareness rally and collected plastic waste from in and around the village.
They also had a special meeting with Sanket Balwan Waghe, Additional Collector of Coimbatore district, and Dhanalakshmi, Block Development Officer of SS Kulam, during the camp.
Waghe interacted with the NSS volunteers and appreciated the students for their activities throughout the week.
