Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DX-EDGE (Digital Excellence for Growth and Enterprise) on 9th December 2025 at the college campus.

The MoU was signed by Sundararaman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions, on behalf of the college, and Shivaji Sen, Principal – Digital, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), on behalf of DX-EDGE.

The MoU signing ceremony was presided over by Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee, along with Adithya, Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions.

In her presidential address, Malarvizhi reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to equipping students with advanced skills tailored to meet industry requirements in an era of rapid digital transformation.

She underscored that the MoU heralds a strengthened partnership that will empower students through structured digital training, experiential learning modules, and industry-driven mentorship.

About Dx-EDGE

The Dx-EDGE initiative is a major Indian programme led by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in collaboration with NITI Aayog and AICTE, aimed at digitally transforming Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) toward the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision.

The initiative builds an ecosystem linking MSMEs with technology, academia, and government, offering tools, knowledge, and partnerships to enhance productivity, resilience, and global competitiveness through the adoption of digital and frontier technologies.

At the event, Ganesh Kumar, former Chairman of CII’s Coimbatore Zone and Managing Director of Indo Shell Cast, delivered a special address where he emphasised the importance of digital empowerment for India’s SME sector and urged engineering graduates to adopt an innovation-driven mindset.

Shivaji Sen introduced the students to the programme’s roadmap, training components, and opportunities for industry exposure.

Joining through video conference, Sujith Haridas, Deputy Director General of CII, highlighted the critical role of national digital transformation initiatives like DX-EDGE in accelerating technological adoption across MSMEs.

Madhu Vasanthy. Principal Advisor, DX-EDGE, outlined the objectives of DX-EDGE and its role in bridging the skill gap through guided industry-academia collaboration.

The ceremony was attended by CII officials, including Shimna, Deputy Director and Head, CII Coimbatore Zone and Saai Saran, Executive Officer, CII, along with deans, heads of departments, faculty members, students, and other stakeholders.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Porkumaran, Principal of the college.
