Sakthi Institute of Information and Management Studies (SIIMS) organised the Induction programme Deeksharambham 2024 for I MBA Students, recently.
A.M. Palanisamy, Chairman of Aerospace Materials Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore delivered a talk on “The Entrepreneurial Mindset & Leadership”. In his speech, he emphasized the Importance of purpose of life serving fellow human beings. He also inspired the students to add value for themselves by being physically fit, mentally alert and following the moral values in their lives.
Dr. R. Sharmila, Director i/e SIIMS welcomed the gathering. The session focused on the “Essentials of Soft Skills,” led by Dr. C. Rajalakshmi, Associate Professor, SIIMS. She highlighted the significance of effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability in professional settings.
She provided practical tips and exercises to enhance these skills, preparing students for the dynamic workplace environment. Both sessions were well-received, leaving participants motivated and better equipped for future challenges.
