Shankar IAS Academy, a leading institution for civil services coaching, has opened its new branch in Peelamedu, marking a significant expansion in its presence in the region.
The new branch was inaugurated by V Balakrishnan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City; S V Balasubramaniam, Chairman, Bannari Amman Group; Nandini, Chairperson, GRG Group of Institutions in the presence of Senthilnathan, Managing Director; Arun, Centre Head; Yasmi Arun, CEO and Chandru, Academic Head, Shankar IAS Academy, Coimbatore Branch.
“In 2012, we embarked on a journey to empower future leaders at our Ramnagar branch. Seven years later, in 2019, we expanded to Cross Cut Road, furthering our mission. Now, we have launched our third branch in Peelamedu. Our journey began with 23 students now, we have educated over 10,000 aspiring minds.”
Speaking at the inauguration, Balakrishnan said Civil Services form the backbone of administration, and it was once considered to be a field for the elites but now it has become democratized. Even a humble person from a rural part of a state can now accomplish big in Civil Services if they pursue it with perseverance and follow a systematic approach, the commissioner said.
Nandini Rangaswamy expressed her hopes that this centre too would be a beacon of hope and guidance to students.
S.V. Balasubramanian congratulated the academy for their expansion and appealed to the aspirants to never fear failing in their first attempts. He said success in any attempt is Success, indeed; and wished them all to work hard and help realise India’s dream to become Viksit Bharat (a developed India).
