SCM Garments and the Tamil Nadu government exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which the company will invest ₹300 crore in the state, generating 6,000 jobs in apparel manufacturing.
The MoU exchange took place during the TN Rising Investors’ Meeting held at Hotel Le Méridien on 25 November 2025.
The representative of SCM Garments exchanged the MoU with Darez Ahamed, Managing Director of Guidance, the state’s investment promotion and single-window facilitation agency under the Industries Department.
