Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital has been honoured with the “HCO Innovation & Early Technology Adoption Winner Award” for Early Adoption of Technology – MRgFUS, at the 10th Edition of CAHOTECH 2025, held recently at KIIT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

“Magnetic Resonance Guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) is the first knife-less brain surgery for essential tremors and tremor-dominant Parkinson’s Disease.

Using this technique, more than 210 patients have been successfully treated so far.

CAHO (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations), a leading non-profit body dedicated to advancing quality and patient safety across India, presented this prestigious award.

Competing against 128 contestants, with 21 finalists and multiple rounds of intense presentations, this award reflects Royal Care’s dedication to adopting cutting-edge medical technology towards better patient care.

Dr. K. Madeswaran, Chairman & Managing Director and Consultant Neuro & Spine Surgeon, said that this recognition celebrates the hospital’s commitment to driving innovation in healthcare—leveraging advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and the overall care experience.

Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital is the first in South East Asia to launch this technology. He further added that the award was conferred for the hospital’s pioneering technology.

Dr. Senthilkumar, Consultant Radiologist, presented this technology at the forum and received the award on behalf of the hospital.
