The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity, under Rotary International District 3206, has successfully started the first month of its flagship community project titled “Tex–365”.
This unique initiative is dedicated to supporting the health and daily wellness of children and people in orphanages.
“Tex – 365” is a one-year continuous service project under the club’s ‘Best Practice’ initiative, with a focus on donating herbal tea powder, sugar, and nutritious biscuits every month. The first phase of the project, carried out with a budget of ₹10,000.
The herbal tea donations aim to boost immunity, enhance well-being, and offer daily comfort to children in need.
Rtr. PHF. Thanghapantieyaan, District IPDRR, and the Club Mentor was present while donating, along with Rtr. Arjun, Club President, Rtr. Bharath, Club Secretary, the club members Rtr. PP. Hari Prasath, Rtr. PP. Maikchelraj, Rtr. Mehala.
Speaking about the project, Rtr. Arjun, President, shared, “With Tex–365, we aim to bring small moments of wellness into the everyday lives of these children. A warm cup of herbal tea may be simple, but it symbolises care, consistency, and compassion.”
The club will continue this initiative every month until June 2026, ensuring consistent support and care to these homes through thoughtful, health-focused donations.
