To identify and nurture the future Rotaracts, the Rotaract Clubs of Coimbatore Newgen and HICET of Rotaract District 3201 hosted the ‘Diamond District Trainers’ Workshop at the Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology (HCET), recently.

The District Trainers, equipping them with the skills necessary to play a pivotal role in the organization’s growth. This Workshop was specifically designed for Rotaractors who aspired to work as certified district trainers.

The workshop was inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Guest Rtn. MD. Godwin Maria Visuwasam, District Chair for Youth Service, and other special invitees.

Each dignitary shared insights and words of encouragement to the participants, emphasizing the importance of leadership in Rotaract’s growth.

Throughout the day, more than 85 enthusiastic Rotaractors were evaluated in three segments by the District Trainers Cell, assessing their proficiency in Rotary & Rotaract knowledge, communication, problem-solving and leadership potential. This rigorous preliminary round aimed to select the most promising aspirants who would advance to the main round—a year-long program designed to enhance their skills even further.

The evaluation process also provided participants with constructive feedback, allowing them to gauge their readiness for the responsibilities of a district trainer. Those who met the criteria during this preliminary phase will be granted access to the main event, where their journey to becoming certified Rotaract District Trainers will continue.

The Diamond District Trainers Workshop marked the beginning of a transformative journey for many Rotaractors, with the potential to significantly impact the leadership and development of the district.
