The PSG College of Technology alumni from the 1955–1959 batch have been meeting every year on the last Sunday of June. This year, in 2025, the gathering took place on 29th June.
The 1955 batch began with 99 students, of whom 30 are currently alive. This year, 11 of them met to celebrate and recall their memories in the college, marking 70 years (Platinum Jubilee) of the college.
The alumni who participated in this special occasion were Jayaraman V., Natarajan M.K., Karuppannan K.M., Venugopal T., Soundararajan R., Subramanyan S., Devaraj K., Krishnasami S., Arumugham P., Varatharajan A.V., and Narayanan B.
The remaining 19 could not attend as they live abroad, in other cities, or face age-related health issues, who are now between 87 and 92 years old.
They have decided to continue meeting every year, for as long as at least two of them are still alive.
