The Department of Civil Engineering, PSG College of Technology, will organise a two-day Research Poster Presentation titled “Sustainable Construction Materials and Innovative Designs” (PSG Civil Sustain 2026) on March 6 and 7, 2026, at F-Block, PSG College of Technology.
The event is being conducted as part of the institution’s Platinum Jubilee Year (2026) celebrations and aims to promote innovative research, sustainable practices, and industry–academia collaboration in the field of civil engineering.
The programme will feature participation from 50 registered participants, including students, research scholars, academicians, and industry professionals.
The event will include keynote addresses by distinguished experts from industry and research organisations:
- Elan Thendral, Regional Technical Service Head – RSO Tamilnadu, Ambuja Cements Limited & ACC Limited
- Daniel Ronald Joseph, Principal Scientist & Head, Corrosion Testing Centre, CSIR–Central Electro Chemical Research Institute, Mandapam Campus
- Alagu Pandi, Arcadis Consulting, Madurai
- Vadivel Raja, Founder & Design Engineer, Keezhadi Structural Engineering & Consultancy, Madurai
The keynote sessions will focus on sustainable cement technologies, corrosion prevention strategies, durability of infrastructure, and innovative structural design practices aligned with global sustainability goals.
The research posters will be evaluated by an expert jury panel, and the top three winners will be awarded cash prizes sponsored by PSG STEP during the valedictory session.
PSG Civil Sustain 2026 is expected to serve as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and fostering sustainable infrastructure development.
