The 20th annual Sir J.C.Bose Memorial Award Function was held on Saturday at The Clubhouse in Parsn Sesh Nestle in Nanjundapuram.
V.Geethalakshmi, Former Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) took part as the Chief Guest of this event.
At the event, renowned agricultural scientist S.Ramasamy was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable contribution to eco-friendly technologies in agriculture and his work with UN in Bangladesh and Vietnam.
7 other eminent personalities – Srinivasan Rangasamy, Chairman, KSR Educational Institutions, Tiruchengode; Prof.R.Rajavel, Registrar, Bharathiar University; Francis Xavier Former Prof., Boston College, USA; Minu Thickitt, Director of Publications,American Association of Thoracic Surgery, USA; T.Vijayakumar, renowned safety professional; S.Seetharaman, renowned historian and Prasanna Balaji,Vice Principal, National College, Tiruchi – were honoured with the institutional award.
