Rathinam Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the NilgirisNext Foundation for Art and Culture, is to present the ATOM Film Festival, on 30th and 31st of July 2025 at the Rathinam Arts and Science College Auditorium, Eachanari.
With the central theme of “Ecology, Culture, and Society,” the festival aims to spotlight environmental and socio-cultural narratives through the compelling medium of cinema.
This prestigious event will be graced by Saminathan, Minister for Tamil Development, Information and Publicity, Government of Tamil Nadu, who will serve as the Chief Guest.
The festival is a collaborative effort led by a visionary team comprising Madan Sendhil, Chairman and Secretary of Rathinam Group of Institutions; Shima Sendhil, Director; Manickam, CEO; Nagaraj, Chief Business Officer; and Guna Sekaran, Campus Head, Rathinam Kovilpalayam.
Valuable partnerships and creative direction are provided by Ravi Senthilkumar, Director of Programmes, Research, and International Alliances, NilgirisNext Foundation; Arun Vaddi, Festival Curator; and Saravanan, noted ecologist from Auroville and Founder of the Pitchandikulam Forest, Puducherry.
The two-day festival will feature an array of curated film screenings, expert talks, and engaging panel discussions, all designed to foster dialogue on ecological preservation, cultural identity, and social transformation.
Entry to the event is free, encouraging participation from students, filmmakers, scholars, and the general public alike. The ATOM Film Festival stands as a timely cultural intervention, amplifying voices that call for sustainable living and collective responsibility through the art of film.
