Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, is hosting the Bharathiar University Inter-Collegiate C-Zone Football Tournament 2025 from 15th to 17th September 2025 at the Rathinam Football Ground.
The tournament is aimed at promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among college students affiliated with Bharathiar University.
On the opening day, 15th September 2025, 16 colleges participated, and eight matches were conducted.
At the tournament, in a match between Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, and Government Arts College, Pollachi, Rathinam College won.
In other matches, Nehru College of Arts and Science defeated Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, emerged victorious against Pollachi College of Arts and Science.
AJK College played against Vidhyasagar College and won. In the fifth match, Sree Narayana Guru College triumphed over Government Arts College, Udumalpet.
The event is being conducted under the leadership of Professor Annadurai, Professor and Director in-charge of Bharathiar University; Madan Sendhil, Chairman of Rathinam Group of Institutions; Manickam, CEO and Secretary of Rathinam Group of Institutions; and Balasubramanian, Principal of Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.
