Rao Hospital, Rotary Club Monarks & Rotary Club Aakruthi jointly conducted a Breastfeeding Awareness Program on August 7th at the hospital.
The awareness emphasises the importance of breastfeeding for infant health and well-being. The event featured esteemed speakers and special guests, including Chief Guest RTN ADV AKS Sundaravadivelu, District Governor 3201, and Ann Murugambal, District First Lady.
Dr. Krishnasamy, consultant-pediatrics and neonatologist, at Rao Hospital delivered a keynote address on the benefits of breastfeeding, highlighting its advantages for both mothers and babies. Kaviya Giritharan, a certified lactation consultant, shared valuable insights and techniques on successful breastfeeding practices.
The program aimed to educate and support new mothers, promoting a better understanding of the significance of breastfeeding. The event was well-received by the attendees, who appreciated the informative sessions and interactive Q&A.
