The 105 Battalion of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) organised the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2025 on 25 September 2025 at the Children’s Park located in Mahalingapuram, Vellalore.
The campaign aimed to promote cleanliness and community participation under the nationwide initiative.
The cleanliness drive was conducted under the leadership of Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commandant of the Battalion, and in the presence of Kanagaraj, Councillor of the 11th Ward, Vellalore.
Officers and personnel of the Battalion, along with local civilians and sanitation workers from the Mahalingapuram locality, actively participated in the event.

The team undertook the cleaning of the park and its surroundings in a befitting manner, showcasing their commitment to the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
The activity was held under the theme Swachhotsav, aligned with the nationwide movement of Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath, which involved simultaneous cleanliness drives and voluntary contributions (Shramdaan) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
On this occasion, a pledge-taking ceremony was conducted with the participation of the local public and sanitation workers, reaffirming their dedication to building a cleaner and healthier India.
As part of the outreach efforts, masks, gloves, and food packets were distributed to local body sanitation workers in recognition of their continuous and selfless service towards maintaining public hygiene and cleanliness.
