The Department of Civil Engineering, PSG College of Technology, is organising the two-day research poster presentation titled “Sustainable Construction Materials and Innovative Designs” (PSG Civil Sustain 2026) on March 06 and 07, 2026, at the college.
Organised as part of the Platinum Jubilee Year (2026) celebrations, the event brings together 50 participants who present research posters on sustainable construction materials, innovative structural systems, durability enhancement, corrosion mitigation, and low-carbon technologies.
The programme features distinguished keynote speakers who are delivering insightful technical sessions.
Er. Elan Thendral, Regional Technical Service Head – RSO Tamil Nadu, Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited, delivers the keynote address on sustainable cement technologies and industry-driven innovations in construction materials.
Daniel Ronald Joseph, Principal Scientist and Head, Corrosion Testing Centre, CSIR–Central Electro Chemical Research Institute, Mandapam Campus, presents a keynote lecture on corrosion science and durability improvement strategies for long-lasting infrastructure.
Er. Alagu Pandi from Arcadis Consulting, Madurai, shares practical perspectives on sustainable engineering solutions in consultancy practice.
Er. Vadivel Raja, Founder and Design Engineer of Keezhadi Structural Engineering and Consultancy, Madurai, highlights innovative structural design practices aligned with sustainability principles.
The keynote sessions stimulate engaging discussions and provide valuable exposure to participants on current industry trends and research advancements. The poster presentations are being evaluated by expert juries, and the top three winners will be awarded cash prizes sponsored by PSG STEP during the valedictory session.
