PSG College of Technology, under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council, inaugurated ‘The Confluence 2026’, a Research, Innovation and Technology Summit, on 7 February 2026 at the college.
Amitabh Kant, Former G20 Sherpa of India and Former CEO of NITI Aayog, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Kumaravelu, Managing Director of Aqua Group, Coimbatore, was the Guest of Honour.
Prakasan, Principal of the college, presided over the inauguration.
The summit will feature panel discussions by academicians and industry experts focusing on innovation, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence, along with keynote addresses by industry leaders.
The event will also include hands-on workshops, idea-pitching sessions, poster presentations, and an innovators’ exhibit, providing participants with a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The Confluence 2026 is expected to serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration between academia and industry on emerging trends in research, innovation, and technology.
