Students of PSG College of Arts and Science performed well at the 4th Tamil Nadu State-Level Intercollegiate Powerlifting Championship, held at Pioneer College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, from January 22 to 24, 2026.
In the women’s category, Kaviya Dharshini (PGDHRM) won the gold medal in the 52 kg weight category, while Mahalakshmi (PGDBM) secured gold in the 76 kg category. Subitha (PGDHRM) won the silver medal in the 57 kg category.
In the men’s category, Saahar, a first-year B.Sc. CNMA student won the bronze medal in the 105 kg category. Kesaav Karthick, a first-year B.B.A. student, and Suzil Ahamed, a second-year B.Com (Computer Science) student, secured bronze medals in the 83 kg category.
