The NCC Republic Day Camp 2025, held from December 27, 2024, to January 29, 2025, in New Delhi, brought together 2,361 cadets from across all 28 states and eight Union Territories.
Among these cadets, 127 from the Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Andaman & Nicobar Directorate (TNP & AN) participated in the camp after a rigorous stage wise selection process through unit-level, NCC group-level, and directorate-level camps.
The most prestigious event of the camp, the Prime Minister’s Rally, took place on January 27, 2025.
The event began with the Guard of Honour presented by NCC cadets to the Prime Minister. Prominent dignitaries, including Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Defence; Sanjay Seth, Union Minister of State for Defence; Gen. Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff; Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff; Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of Air Staff; Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff; Lt. Gen. Gurbirpal Singh, Director General of NCC and Rajesh Kumar Singh, Defence Secretary, were present at the occasion.
Contingents from all State NCC Directorates participated in the March Past. Among the selected representatives of the TNP & AN Directorate, F/C Sudeeth (23BZO043), was also a cadet from the 2 TN AIR SQN NCC and a second-year B.Sc. Zoology student at PSG College of Arts & Science.
Sudeeth represented his Directorate in the prestigious All India Republic Day Camp 2025 and was part of the Prime Minister’s Rally drill contingent at the Cariappa Ground.
During the camp, cadets had the unique opportunity to interact with key figures, including the Vice President, Rajya Mantri, Chief of Defence Staff, Chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the Chief Minister of Delhi, and the Director General of NCC.
In addition, cadets participated in a special tea party hosted by the Chief of Air Staff.

On February 4, 2025, the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu felicitated the NCC cadets who represented the TNP & AN Directorate and earned accolades in various competitions at the Republic Day Camp.
The Directorate secured third place in the national competition, and the Deputy CM expressed the State’s pride in the cadets’ achievements. He praised their hard work, dedication, and unwavering spirit, which reflected the core values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism.
